Wright City Food Pantry is Located in Wright City
in the lower level of Open Hearts United Methodist Church.

The food pantry serves all residents of the Wright City R-2 School District only. The food pantry is located at Open Hearts Methodist Church. Families can use the food pantry on Thursdays once a month. The food pantry is open 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursdays. All residents of Wright City can also receive food from the Salvation Army food pantry in O'Fallon.

To receive food from our pantry a person must live in Wright City the R-2 School District, and must have a gross monthly income at or below 125 percent of federal poverty guidelines. This is a sliding scale based on family size, age and disability. In general, if a family is eligible for food stamps they meet our criteria. The maximum allowed income for a family of 4 with no elderly or disabled in the home is $2,297 per month. See the Federal Poverty Guidelines attached. We do not set this criteria, it is set for us by the St. Louis Area Food Bank, who provides us with a monthly truckload of food.

Donate food or hygiene items to the food pantry. We always need peanut butter, canned meat, cereal, diapers, toilet paper, soap, shampoo and deodorant.
