Birthday gifts
When a family makes their once-monthly visit to the pantry, if there is a child under 18 in the home having a birthday that month, the family can select a birthday present, and we provide them with a cake, or with the supplies to bake a cake when we have the supplies in stock. This program is only available in the food pantries.

Clothing and Household Items
Through our thrift shop we provide free clothing and household goods to families as the need arises and inventory permits. When families come for their monthly food pantry appointment they are allowed one $5.00 Discount Coupon to be used at the thrift shop. In addition, we have a supply of new clothing donated by area retailers. These are reserved exclusively for our pantry clients and are never sold through the thrift shop. Requirements are the same as the food pantry. We assist victims of a disaster or emergency such as a fire with clothing & food with a Red Cross Referral.

Daycare Assistance
There are many families out there who would work if they could afford daycare. Unfortunately, we do not have even a fraction of the funding needed to help them all. We refer most applicants to the Family Services Division's daycare subsidy program.

Our DAP (Daycare Assistance Program) seeks out families who want to do more than work; they want to move up economically and become truly self-sufficient. Program participants typically are both working and enrolled in college. Graduates of the program have earned degrees in nursing, business, nuclear technology, and culinary arts. They are now working in hospitals, business, or industry.

Each year our board receives over 50 applications applying for our DAP Program. The board is accepting applicants to the program that have more than the desire to get ahead, they will have a plan, and they will be able to articulate that plan as well as the milestones they need to reach their goal.

Emergency Financial Aid
All income eligible residents of Warren County are eligible for emergency funds for utility aid as long as we have the funds. It is emergency funds, to be eligible for assistance with utilities such as electric, propane and water you have to present a disconnect notice.

Infant Kits
Expecting mothers using the food pantry receive a birth kit from us that includes baby clothes, blankets, bottles and diapers. They also receive a referral to Mary Queen of Angels in St. Charles for baby furniture and to Birthright in Wentzville for diapers, layette kits, maternity clothes and free counseling.

Job Search
As an access point for the Missouri Career Center, we help individuals make use of the State's "Missouri Career Source" database of employers, and facilitate their use of the Career Center.

Personal Hygiene Items
Personal hygiene items, like soap and toilet paper, can not be purchased with food stamps. We try to keep our food pantry stocked with these items to help our pantry clients. However, if we have to choose between buying food and buying toilet paper, we will choose food, so we do run short on personal hygiene items.

Prescription Aid
Applications are considered on a case by case basis. We will consider any prescription that is needed to sustain life and health. Assistance will not be provided for precriptions such as birth control; "life style" drugs, such as Viagra; and controlled substances with high street values, such as oxycontin.

School Supplies
Each summer we provide school supplies to the families in our food pantry. Requirements are, income-eligible families with a child K – 12 only and must live full time in the home, and attend any school in Warren County.

We put a sign-up sheet at the Wright City food pantry to make signing-up for the program more convenient for residents of the Wright City School District.

Share-A-Christmas
The Share-A-Christmas (SAC) program provides gifts for children (younger than 18) who live in their parents' home full-time. Every family in our food pantry is eligible for the Share-A-Christmas program. In addition we take applications from families who have not needed the pantry. We ask that applicants to the SAC exhaust other sources for Christmas Aid before coming to us. It is not our intention to provide material gifts to families who have already signed up in similar programs run by other agencies.

Weatherization
Every family in our pantry is eligible for winter weatherization supplies, like plastic for windows, weather stripping, etc. In addition we offer air conditioning units and space heaters as supplies allow and need demands. Eligibility requirements are the same as our food pantry.

Work Supplies
We work with the Missouri Career Center as funds allow, to provide clothing, shoes and supplies for individuals to keep or obtain employment. Clients who have been referred by the Career Center can also receive free clothing from our thrift shop for a job or interview.
