FRESH connect local farms directly with food pantries to provide fresh, nutritious produce to individuals in need, reducing food waste and increasing access to healthy food.

FRESH Partners consist of both small, local, and family-owned farms as well as larger regional farming operations and everything in between. 

Working with the food pantry is another way to help ensure that farmers have outlets for the food they produce as well as decreasing their spoilage. In particular, farms often donate “seconds” – these are perfectly delicious  and nutritious fruits and veggies that simply aren’t attractive enough to display on a grocery shelf.  

AGAPE is also working with the next generation of farmers through partnerships with local 4-H and FFA clubs.
